What is home automation?

  • Turn lights and electronics on/off depending on your location

  • Wake up to a simulated sunrise

  • Open and close blinds automatically

  • Set the lighting to different scenes and moods throughout the day

  • Make things happen based on motion, light, time, humidity, temperature, the day of the week, how many steps you took that day and so many more options

  • Control your home with your phone or voice

The possibilities are endless!

Automation throughout your home

Bedroom

Home automation in your bedroom is important because it supports you as you wake up and fall asleep.

In the morning, wake up to the perfect temperature as your lights slowly fade on, your curtains open, and your favourite music (or alarm) plays. When you're ready, ask your voice assistant for the daily rundown and have it include, weather, news, traffic, or your schedule.

At night, slowly fade your lights again to a relaxing atmosphere to get ready for bed. As you fall asleep, just say a simple command to your voice assistant or press one button on your phone to close your blackout curtains, turn off the lights, set the alarm, play any white noise you want, and receive notifications about any unlocked doors or open windows that you forgot about.

Bathroom

When you enter your bathroom in the morning, step on the scale and tell Google your weight that morning. When you hop in your shower, your system will detect the humidity change and automatically turn on your fan to save energy and keep your home mold-free.

If you're not home and there's a leak in your bathroom, don't worry! Our smart leak detectors will notify you immediately when water is detected so you can act accordingly from anywhere in the world.

Kitchen

Come downstairs to a warm cup of freshly-brewed coffee and have Alexa tell you about traffic, weather, and news each morning. Add new events to your calendar, set reminders for later, or add new items to your shopping list for the evening. If you burn your toast one morning, you can silence the smoke detector from your phone before the whole family wakes up from it.

Living Room

When you come home, load up Netflix, dim the lights, and close your shades all with the click of one button. Relaxing has never been easier in your living room.

Playing media and entertaining guests are a top priority when we integrate smart technology. At the same time, we keep your system secure and safe to access for your family and no one else.

Whatever you need, we can make it work.

The Consulting Process

Consultation

The initial meeting will be with you, discussing your wants and needs. If you don’t know what you want, that’s not a problem. You get the opportunity to learn about every imaginable use of home automation. Taking place in your home, this meeting typically runs about 30-45 minutes.

Recommendation

Within 24 hours of the consultation, you will receive an online quote with the requirements to make your home energy efficient, convenient, and secure.

The package you receive is built 100% for you, and it has the right products you need for a fully compatible system. Do you want to only start with a smart thermostat and a few light bulbs? We can make it work! Want your whole home converted? We can do that too! This is an entirely tailored package to create your one-of-a-kind home.

Installation

When the quote is accepted and you make a deposit, we order your items and have them on hand often within two days. When we know all of the products are in stock, we set up a date and time to install your system. Installations are usually complete within one day. Small homes and condos typically take 2-4 hours. while larger, detached 4-bedroom homes could take a full day.
